Come discover the award-winning wines of Silver Mountain Vineyards, where you'll have access to special "one-day only" discounts. This is your special opportunity to visit wineries of the Santa Cruz Mountains, many not open to the public at other times. Tour the facilities, meet the winemakers, sample the wines, and learn more about why the wineries from this appellation are so unique. Get your passport stamped by all of the participating Santa Cruz Wineries to receive a free T-shirt. Passports are available at participating wineries.
Santa Cruz Mountains Wine Auction "Wine with Heart"
Friday and Sunday, May 3rd and 5th, 2002
This event will benefit the American Heart Association and Stanford Cardiovascular Research. Enjoy an auction, wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres followed by a gourmet winemakers' dinner May 3rd at Thomas Fogarty Winery and Vineyards in Woodside, CA ($95). Auction items include rare wines, getaways to world class resorts, overseas trips, unique private winemakers' dinners and much more. On Sunday, May 5, 2002, taste virtually all of the Santa Cruz Mountains Wineries in one location with gourmet hors d'oeuvres, silent and live auctions at the Stanford Faculty Club ($45). Every year, Silver Mountain opens its doors for one of the Bay area's favorite wine events. Many member wineries of the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Associations will participate. Located at various restaurants and wineries throughout Santa Cruz County, this weekend focuses on the western side of the Mountains. Come discover the award-winning wines of Silver Mountain Vineyards, where you'll have access to "one-day only" specials. Enjoy live music in the amphitheatre, sample gourmet delights from our guest chef and peruse the arcade of artists.
